In this guide, I want to talk about waiting for your moment, trusting your timing, and continuing to build even when it feels like everyone else is getting ahead of you.

You Don't Have To Have Your Moment Yet

Sometimes it feels like everybody else is getting opportunities before you.

Someone gets discovered.

Someone gets signed.

Someone gets the job.

Someone's work suddenly takes off.

And you start wondering when it's going to be your turn.

Your turn may not have arrived yet.

That doesn't mean it isn't coming.

1. Stop Comparing Your Timing

One of the fastest ways to become frustrated is to compare your timeline to somebody else's.

You don't know when their work started.

You don't know what they sacrificed.

You don't know what opportunities they had.

And you don't know where their path is going.

Their timing is not your timing.

Stay focused on your own road.

2. Understand That Life Has Seasons

Not every season is supposed to look the same.

Sometimes you're building.

Sometimes you're learning.

Sometimes you're recovering.

Sometimes you're creating quietly.

Sometimes you're finally seeing results.

A quiet season is still a season.

Don't assume nothing is happening just because you can't see the results yet.

3. Keep Building Before Anyone Notices

You may have to build something for a long time before people recognize it.

That's normal.

The work you do when nobody is paying attention can become the foundation for everything that comes later.

Keep improving.

Keep creating.

Keep learning.

Don't stop building just because nobody is watching yet.

4. Don't Let Someone Else's Success Discourage You

Someone else's success doesn't mean there is less success available for you.

Their opportunity isn't proof that you missed yours.

Their recognition isn't proof that you're forgotten.

Celebrate what other people accomplish.

Then return to your own work.

You don't have to lose because somebody else won.

5. Be Patient Without Becoming Passive

Waiting doesn't mean sitting around doing nothing.

You can be patient while still moving.

Learn.

Practice.

Create.

Build relationships.

Improve your skills.

Prepare for opportunities you haven't received yet.

Patience should be active.

6. Prepare For The Opportunity Before It Arrives

Sometimes the reason people aren't ready for their opportunity is because they spent their waiting period wishing instead of preparing.

If you want to produce at a higher level, practice now.

If you want to run a business, learn now.

If you want to lead people, develop yourself now.

Prepare for the life you're asking for.

7. Don't Force Your Moment

Desperation can make you accept opportunities that aren't actually good for you.
